Vocal Intensive

The Vocal Intensive program at the Algoma Conservatory is a nine month immersion in technical and artistic study. It is individually designed to fit the singer’s specific needs and interests while solidifying their technique to prepare for next steps.

Adult Musicianship Program

Have you been playing for years, but never got to the next level? Do you feel as though your playing has hit a plateau? Have you ever wanted to learn how other musicians can play by ear or take solos? Build on what you already know by expanding your knowledge of theory, composition, performance technique, band dynamics, and ear training. You will begin to be able to improvise and make music as part of a group in a variety of musical genres.

Private Instrumental and Voice Lessons

A weekly private lesson and a daily practice assignment. If you can find the time to practice 5 or 6 days per week for about 30 minutes you can make excellent progress. Many of our adult students have gone on to join community choirs, orchestras and bands.
