Four outstanding teachers: Karen Kettles, Elizabeth Kinghorn, Karen Malone & Agnes McCarthy provide vocal instruction in all styles, including classical, musical theatre, jazz and popular. Many students follow a traditional structured approach in preparation for Royal or Conservatory Canada examinations.

Four levels of youth choir brings the joy of making music to students aged 6 to 19. No musical background is required for the first three levels. All children in the community, as well as voice students and instrumentalists not involved in another ensemble, are encouraged to participate in the choirs. The Advanced Choir is an award winning ensemble, having performed from Vancouver to Cape Breton. They have won top awards in festivals and have been featured in numerous concerts and on CBC radio. Placement in the Advanced Choir is by audition. All of the choirs are directed by Conservatory vocal instructor Agnes McCarthy.
