The Season Finale - The World's Most Loved Opera
Dialogue in English
If you love musicals, this is for you
The same company that brought you the fabulous production of The Magic Flute is now gearing up to tour the Barber across Canada. As
before the long recitatives are gone - replaced by fast paced dialogue in English, giving you the pleasure of the great story and all
of the unforgettable musical moments. The simple imaginative sets, beautiful costumes and great voices will bring this classic opera
to life. Auditions are held across Canada for the leads, the winners then practice their parts for months and spend the summer
rehearsing together, preparing every detail for the tour. Finally they depart from Montreal - and all we have to do is pay a few
dollars before it sells out, arrive at the theatre, sit back... and enjoy.

This violin/cello duo amazes with its virtuosity and engaging repertoire choices. After hearing them in Toronto we immediately booked
them for our series. They are two of the most refined chamber music artists in Canada with an exciting flair for performing, expanding
the limits of the string duo by including both traditional and electric instruments on the programme. Both now live in Quebec after
studying at the University of Indiana and the Mozarteum in Austria, and have won major prizes at competitions in Canada.
"Antoine Bareil & Sebastien Lepine are masterful chamber music artists combining acoustic instruments (including a Stradivarisu cello) and electric instruments in a program which expands the limits of the string duo repertoire"
