Quartetto Gelato continues to reign as an international sensation with repeat sold-out performances. For 12 years they have won the

They have brought the house down in Sault Ste. Marie in past years and now present an exciting new program with two new members.

the Penderecki was formed in Poland in
1986. Their recent schedule has included
concerts in New York, Amsterdam, St.
Petersburg, Paris, Los Angeles, Atlanta, as
well as appearances at international
festivals in Poland, Lithuania, Italy,
Venezuela, and China. They perform awide
range of repertoire and have premiered over
100 new works. Their diverse discography
includes the chamber music of Brahms and
Shostakovich (Eclectra and Marquis labels)
and the Bartok cycle soon to be released.
They enter their 14th year as Quartet-in-
Residence at Wilfrid Laurier University in
Waterloo.
