Associate from the Toronto Conservatory of Music (now Royal Conservatory); founding principal of the Avila School in Thunder Bay, now part of Lakehead University. For her outstanding contribution as a music educator she was awarded an Honourary Licentiate Diploma at the Western Conservatory in London in 1993. Formerly from Sault Ste. Marie, she returned in 1996.
