Paul began undergraduate
studies in harpsichord and early music in
England under Valda Aveling and Edgar Hunt
at the University of London. He completed a
Bachelor of Music degree in musicology at
Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1982,
and a Master's Performance degree in piano
at Brandon University in 1984. He is active
as a conductor, adjudicator, clinician and
teacher. Paul is currently serving as an
adjunct professor in the Dept. of Music &
Fine Arts at Algoma University College, an
instructor at Algoma Conservatory, and
Organist & Choirmaster at Central United
Church in Sault Ste Marie where he runs an
intensive choral programme of six choirs.
