Voice
Christine Aceti is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, holding a BEd., a BMus. Honors in Voice Performance and a BSc in Biology. She also holds an ARCT in piano (teaching) from the Royal Conservatory of Music. Other training includes the Orford Arts Centre Music Academy, the Mountain View International Festival of Song and Chamber Music and the Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute. In 2002, she won the Sault Symphony Young Artist Concerto Competition in and received the Nicholas Goldschmidt Award from the Sault Ste. Marie Kiwanis Music Festival in 2001. Christine has a broad range of performing experience in opera and musical theatre and has been featured in many concerts and recitals. She enjoys working with young students and in addition to teaching at the Conservatory she is an occasional teacher for the Algoma District School Board. She is looking forward to becoming involved in a variety of musical endeavors in the community.
